nimtim were very happy to be involved in the recent Gingerbread City exhibtiion at the V&A.
nimtim created a communal growing space for the city with a com-mint-ment to fostering interaction, collaboration and exchange between the citizens of the Gingerbread City.
Focused around a shared market hall/ glass-house/ community hub that will act as growing space, meeting space, trading space for the alot-mint owners. The space also provides a link between the movement corridor and public landscapes bringing citizens close to the spaces where their food is grown. Allotment owners are encouraged to use ex-spearmint-al approaches to organic and sustainable farming.
It has been 5 years since we started and we wanted to thank you for being part of our success. Looking forward to future project collaborations and completing more projects in the New Year. Tomorrow is our last day before we close for the festive holidays till 2nd January 2019.
This amazing local charity have asked nimtim to look at their current space to allow for flexibility and improved circulation, as well as providing clients and staff with a sense of domesticity. We are now working with Mind to find sponsors and supporters to help deliver the project so do get in touch if you keen to be involved.
nimtim are delighted that both Slot House and Block House have been included in the longlist for next year's award and willl be featured in the exhibition and magazine from the 22nd January 2019.
