nimtim were chosen as one of 20 emerging architects around the world to watch out for in The Wallpaper* Architects’ Directory 2020. The directory has been championing young and emerging talent since the turn of the century. This annual listing of promising practices, has spanned styles and continents; while always championing the best and most exciting young studios and showcasing inspiring residential work.

nimtim will be included in the forthcoming publication from the Architecture Foundation: New Architects 4.

The list includes the most interesting young practices in the UK. Previous lists have included most of practices who are now considered to be the most important and established practices in the UK.

nimtim were chosen by Elle Decoration  as one of the creative forces shaping the future of home as one of just 5 London based practices.

nimtim "has a penchant for injecting quirky touches of pattern and colour into every project". Yellow House was highlighted as a perfect example.

The competition highlights the best 20 architectural schemes built for £250,000 or less.

nimtim were longlisted for the Dezeen awards 2020 emerging architecture studio of the year. Dezeen have been supporters of nimtim from the beginning and have featured Hive House, Arbour House, Cork House and Yellow House in the past.

Our work is about people and our projects tell a story everyone can relate to. For this reason our work has been published around the world and the practice has been recognised as an important emerging practice with a unique voice by architectural magazines and instituations.
